Relay For Life Garage Sale

Well, it seems it was a lifetime ago since we wrote our first blog assignment. I have been busy with LIFE.

Temple Terrace Woman’s Club is involved with American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life. We are preparing for our March Relay which is on March 27-28 at Greco Middle School starting at 6:00pm.

We had our garage sale this Saturday 2-21. The weather was cold, down in 40’s (okay, okay, I know…. for those of you that live in nothern state 40’s is a nice day-I live in Florida!!) but our team made it to the site and set up our tables and brought all of the goodies that members and their friends and family have donated. All in all it was a success. I just heard that all of Temple Terrace’s teams made over $6600. GREAT JOB!

I am also in middle of baking my famous cupcakes for our general meeting tomorrow. I am selling them to raise money for Relay, of course…. Well, I have to go now, since I still have to decorate the cupcakes and go to work at 1:00pm.
