Spring has definately sprung. And so have my allergies!!! We are experiencing some of the best days right now. We just had rain for 3 days but the sun was out yesterday and it was absolutely perfect weather. Made me not want to come back to work from lunch. I am anxiously awaiting the blooms from our azaleas! I understand they are blooming at Callaway Gardens which is a bit more south of Atlanta.

I see the pine trees ready to assault us with the yellow haze. The little pods are starting to show - I liken them to a missile system ready for deployment of yellow pollen that will blanket anything that stays outside for more than a minute. We have not been deluged just yet but they are just awaiting word to launch. I will try and post some pics.

Something is coming up in my garden, finally! No buds, no flowers, no green grass. But we know the maple sap is flowing because the weather has been over 40 during the day. Time to start the seedlings. We'll probably be cutting grass in another month, but no sign yet. It may snow a little the end of the week.

At least the birds are singing merrily outside. That seems to make it all closer.

I wish I were in Georgia...or is that Dixie?
