I'm glad you found Facebook Amee, because you are endlessly entertaining! I think it's a wonderful way to reconnect with people. My best friend from high school is now on and we normally only talk on birthdays. Cousins too, whom I haven't seen in years. I think it's great!

I am a retired teacher and grandmother and have just joined Facebook. Talk about a new world!! I do well to use my computer and record my favorite shows on the DVD/VHS player. Yeah, I said VHS. Maybe I can get my grandchildren tol help me catchup to the 21st century.

How about Windows Live Messenger? I don't do my AIM very often at all... but my Messenger starts up when Windows does. AIM-kaerb, MSM=silverfinns, Facebook=Karen Erb.

I hope everyone reading this is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs Facebook group. For those of you who don't know, Nikki Willowby at GF Headquarters in Washington, DC the the force behind this blog. She put it together and put together a Facebook group for allllll our GF members.

The thing I like best about Facebook is I have connected with over 50 of my former students. I had a long teaching career, and now I know what has happened to some of those wonderful kids. And I get to see pictures of their kids, and some grand kids too.
