Full Story |We had our state convention for Georgia April 17-19 in Augusta. It was a fabulous convention!!!! Our 1st and 10th district really did an outstanding job hosting. Attendance was a little off – I am hoping next year we can see 500 in attendance. This year only saw 264. I am hoping it was because [...]
Full Story |The Woman’s Club clubhouse and my home are in a very low income neighborhood. I planted daffodils in a bleak spot at the base of the side steps to the clubhouse. A local elderly woman who walks her dog that way everyday stopped to chat as I planted them last November.

My IRS personal taxes are done, whew, but I had to do an extension on our family business corporation taxes. It’s so hard to stay inside now that Spring finally beckons, but I must try to find a balance.
Full Story |I am trying to get “caught up” on all the ways to keep in touch with everyone. I started with a MySpace page, mainly to keep an eye on Catherine, my 14 yr. old. I found a lot of friends there too, but I just didn’t have the time to constantly update my site as [...]
Full Story |Terry pulled her lawnmower into her yard shed and headed up to the house for a glass of lemonade. By the time she walked back outside, it was on fire. Try as they may, the volunteer fire fighters didn’t get all of the flames put out, and the yard shed burned to the ground.
Now, when [...]
